Can I alter the submitted abstract?

Yes you can do it until the 1st of February. Then it will be peer-reviewed. Use your login account to modify your submission.

I submitted the abstract however I have not received confirmation of my submission, why?

The system doesn’t send you confirmation after uploading the abstract. You can login as many times as you would like to check all the details of the previously uploaded abstracts. After the 1st of February you will not be able to modify your abstract(s).

Can I submit another abstract in the electronic submission system ?

You can submit more than one abstract in the system. Use your login account to submit another abstract.

I have to give you the time of arrival and departure and flight number. I may not purchase the ticket until receiving acceptance. Shall I leave this information blank until getting approval?

Yes, it is not necessary to give these details now.

Can I bring one of my family members, should I register for her/him? Or, she/he has to register for herself/himself?

If your family members would not like to participate in the conference you should not register them in this system. Nonetheless you can book accommodation and/or transfers for them as well through our system. You may also book special optional programs for them.

What are the steps for registration into the system and submission of abstracts?

1. Click on Registration

2. On the Conference Registration site, click on Continue

3. On the Login site under Account Login, click on New Registration

4. On the (new) Registration site, add in your personal data and press “submit”

5. You should receive immediately an e-mail such as this:

Clicking on the link below will bring you to a webpage, where you can create your own password by typing it twice and submitting it.

After having submitted your password, please choose the login menu. After giving your password and e-mail address again, you will be able to login.

6. Click on the link provided in the e-mail and create your password by entering it twice.

7. You will receive an immediate confirmation of your password on the screen. You may also see a screen that shows you that you entered your personal data but that you did not submit an abstract or registered. Disregard it. It may appear again when you will login with your e-mail address and password, but disregard it again. Please see the pop-up window at the start of registration that explains this screen.

8. Go back to the website and login with your e-mail address and password. The above mentioned screen will appear again – just close it. You will get a message that you will have 20 minutes to enter the data. On the left site of the screen select Abstract – it will take you to the Abstract Submission screen.

9. At the Abstract Submission screen, click on “new abstract”.

10. You will have to enter the following information:

- Title of the abstract

- Author name, affiliation, e-mail

- Presentation type (from drop down box)

- Stream (select from drop down box)

- Publishing agreement for the abstract on the conference website (click on box to agree)

- Text (cut and paste from your desktop the text of your abstract) and Submit.

Thereon use your login account until the 1st of February 2010 to modify your submission or to add a new abstract. Data not related to your submission/abstract can be modified until 3rd of May.
