It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Conference in Pécs .

We would like to present Hungary and Central-Europe to the participants in detail. Since the Conference is held in the summer we offer you the opportunity to participate in different post-conference programmes.

1. Budapest-Vienna by hydrofoil

We would like to recommend you to spend an evening in Budapest, then travel with a hydrofoil to Vienna after your stay in Pécs. On the way to Vienna you can admire to the historical cities of the Danube bend (Visegrád, Esztergom), and also to the untouched landscape along the Danube. The hydrofoil docks at Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia for a short time and continues its cruise to Vienna.

Our program offer for individual guests (in case of at least 2 persons)

4th June (Friday): travel from Pécs to Budapest (with a transfer bus from hotel to hotel). Accommodation in a 3*, downtown hotel. In the evening (6:00 pm) extraordinary sightseeing tour in Budapest.

Extraordinary city tour – First in Europe! Budapest – as you can only see it with us

Until now you could choose between touring our beautiful capital on four wheels or marvelling at the city from the deck of a pleasure boat. Now you don’t need to choose: RiverRide is a special sightseeing tour on which you can see the sights of Budapest from a comfortable seat, first along its busy streets, and then, from one second to the next – to the gasps of some of your fellow travellers – you splash into the lapping water of the river. 5th June (Saturday): breakfast in the hotel. Departure with a hydrofoil from Budapest to Vienna at 9:00 am. Arriving to Vienna, the capital of Austria at 3:30 pm. Travel to the reserved hotel individually. Accommodation in Vienna. Free program in the evening.

6th June (Sunday): breakfast, then sightseeing, including Schönbrunn, the summer residence of the Kaiser family. Free program. Accommodation in Vienna.

7th June (Monday): departure from Vienna.

2. Trip around lake Balaton

We would like to recommend you a 2-days tour around Hungary’s beautiful lake, the Lake Balaton.

4th June: transfer in the afternoon from Pécs to Siófok, to the „capital” of the lake. Accommodation in Hotel Azúr****. Dinner in the hotel, free program in the evening.

5th June: guided tour with bus around Lake Balaton. Visiting Siófok – Keszthely (Festetics Castle) – Szigliget – Badacsony –peninsula Tihany (Abbey of Tihany) – Balatonfüred (Promenade) – Siófok. During our tour we will have lunch in a traditional Hungarian restaurant (3 –course menu with wine). Dinner in the hotel, free program in the evening.

6th June: transfer from the hotel to Budapest (airport or center) in the morning.

3. Renaissance Theme Park of Bikal

Join us for a time travel, only 1 hour from Pécs. Get acquainted with the atmosphere of the medieval Hungary at the Renaissance Theme Park. Experience in the medieval village and old town the works of craftsmen, horse shows and tournaments.

4th June: transfer in the afternoon from Pécs to Bikal. Accommodation and dinner in Puchner Castle.
5th June: breakfast, use of wellness center, 4-hour visit to the Rennesaince Theme Park. Dinner in the hotel.
6th June: transfer from the hotel to Budapest (airport or center) in the morning.
